As anyone who has followed Indie knows, Cliff Wheeler holds a special place in our hearts.
Cliff convinced me an all original indie music festival was possible back in 2019 and we held onto that idea through the pandemic & finally saw it to fruition in 2021. Then when the promoter went bankrupt in May 2022 he convinced us to take up the cause on our own. And here we are about to put on our 6th ever Carolina Indie Fest.
Of course Cliff is a talented musician & his band rocks so they've played Indie a few times. The Rant interviewed Cliff in advance of his playing at Carolina Indie Fest on Friday, Sept 20th and I really enjoyed it. There's a lot to learn about the band and the struggle to get everyone in studio when they are sometimes in different places and working on their own projects. It's a different sort of life and I'm always happy to get a peek at that lifestyle. Anyway, here's the link to that interview.
